Afghanistan will play warm up matches against Pakistan and hosts England in May ahead of the World Cup, according to the fixtures announced by the International Cricket Council.
The Afghan team will face Pakistan at Bristol County Ground on May 24 before taking on England at
The Oval on May 27, according to ICC which cited as Afghanistan v Pakistan as a high profile clash.
The World Cup, involving ten teams, is scheduled to begin on May 30 in England and Wales.
It will be Afghanistan’s second World Cup appearance after their debut in 2015 in Australia and New Zealand.
