The 2018 season of Shpageeza Cricket League, Afghanistan's domestic T20 league, will begin on June 30, the country's cricket board said Tuesday.
The date was set during a meeting at the board that discussed also fixtures for first edition of Afghanistan Premier League that is set to take place in UAE in October.
In a news release, ACB said that the resignation of the team’s batting coach, Monty Desai, was accepted. It said that Desai resigned due to his mother’s illness.
The board also confirmed Afghanistan-Bangladesh matches in the future, saying it had sent a two-member delegation to India’s Dehuradun to assess the environment.
